Linda L. Larsen

Linda L. Larsen of Omaha, Nebraska passed away September 29, 2026, after a long, courageous fight with cancer. She was 66. Linda was born July 14, 1960, in Omaha to John E. and Connie (Neuhaus) Larsen. Preceded in death by her father John E. Larsen; grandparents Edward and Naomi Larsen and Wilfred and Elsie Neuhaus; uncles Arlyn Neuhaus and Dean Hemphill; and nephew Justin S. Larsen.

Survived by her mother Connie (Neuhaus) Hagen, Bennington, NE; brothers Gregg (Debi) Larsen, Papillion, NE and Gary (Sabine) Larsen, San Ramon, CA; nieces Brittany Larsen, Mia Larsen; nephew Justin Luckhardt; aunt Mary Ann Hemphill; best and caring friend Cindy May; along with several cousins and many friends.

Linda will be remembered for her love and compassion for her family and friends. Linda was happiest when she was able to entertain family during holidays and special events preparing her wonderful home-cooked meals. Linda recently semi-retired after 20+ years working in accounting at Masimore, Magnuson & Associates in Omaha and will be greatly missed by her “cubemate” Jane.

The family gives thanks to the staff at Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center (8303 Dodge Street, Ste 102, Omaha, NE 68114) and especially Dr. Mary Wells for the care and compassion given to Linda during her cancer fight. Also, we thank the staff at the Hospice House – The Josie Harper Residence (7415 Cedar Street, Omaha, NE 68124) who provided excellent end of life care to her. In lieu of flowers, donations to either of these organizations, or the Nebraska Humane Society (8929 Fort Street, Omaha, NE 68134) will honor Linda’s memory.
