In Loving Memory of
Levius Spencer
“Pops”
December 26, 2006 – July 9, 2026
Levius Spencer, affectionately known as “Pops,” was born on December 26, 2006, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Tia M. Woodard of Omaha, Nebraska, and Vincent A. Spencer of Wilmington, Delaware. He peacefully departed this life on July 9, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 19.
Levius was a young man whose quiet strength and kind spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He enjoyed reading and valued the knowledge and inspiration that books provided. Whether spending time with family and friends or simply enjoying a good book, he lived each day in his own way and made memories that will be cherished forever.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Tia M. Woodard of Omaha, Nebraska; his father, Vincent A. Spencer of Wilmington, Delaware; his grandmother, Maryann Woodard of Omaha, Nebraska; his siblings, Tai Woodard of Omaha, Nebraska, and Selassie Spencer of Omaha, Nebraska; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure the time they shared with him.
One of Levius’ favorite sayings was:
“Horses don’t stop—they keep going.”
Those words reflected the determination and resilience he admired and will continue to inspire those who loved him.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Roeder Mortuary. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Levius’ life and honor his memory during the services. Following the service, all are welcome to join the family for a repast at Lothrop Social Hall.
Special Acknowledgments
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Astute Coffee House & Funders, The Scott’s for their kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time.
Although Levius’ time on earth was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
“Forever in our hearts, always in our memories.”
