Born August 13, 1964, to George Sr. and Glorene Kyles at the family home. He departed this life on September 25, 2023, in Omaha, NE.
Lenny accepted the Lord at an early age and was baptized at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late James E Kelly. Lenny read the bible all of the time and could quote a scripture at the drop of a dime! Spending time discussing the word with his mom was one of the moments he cherished most.
Lenny attended primary and secondary school in Omaha and graduated from Burke High School in the early 1980's. He would go on to earn his CNA license. Lenny also learned sign language and loved using it whenever he had the opportunity to do so!
In his teenage years, Lenny joined the Los Diablos(Condors) Drill Team and gained lifetime family and friends. He would travel around the U.S. with the drill team doing what he loved best, playing the drums! He would come back during the years for Omaha Days to march in the parade, just so he could return to his love of drumming!
Lenny was known for his big hugs, loud laugh, wet kisses, love of music and infectious big smile.
Lenny is preceded in death by: his son Lendale Kyles, his parents George Kyles, Sr and Glorene Kyles, brother Leo Kyles and sister Betty Nutt.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his children Keondre Jackson, Tianna Steen and Jordan Jackson. Grandson Cornell Devers. Brothers George Kyles and Ray Kyles (Brenda), sisters Geraldine Kyles and Joyce Johnson, aunts Terri and Paula, nephew Daniel Jr., nieces Shiovahn, She-Raye and Dianna and his drill team family, a host of cousins and friends.
“You’re on the mic superstar! Thank you for the POWER!” -Lenny
