Laurence F. Kirlin

Larry grew up in Modale, IA and was the 4th oldest of 12 children born to George and Angela (Tamisiea) Kirlin. Longtime partner of Valley Ice Company. Greatly respected and well known for his quick wit, business acumen, and extraordinary mechanical abilities.

Survived by son: Mark Kirlin (Barb); grandchildren: Chistopher, Joshua, Aaron, and Abigail; siblings: Terry Kirlin, Sheila Nacey (Tom), Theresa Riviera (John), Carol Gathye, Cathy Kulus (Joe), JoAnn Kunkle (Mike), Pat Kirlin (Marcia) and Mike Kirlin (Sheila); and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Helen Peterson and Shirley Van Duyn; and infant brother: Daniel Kirlin.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday (8/14/2023) w/ Time of Sharing 7:00 PM at the mortuary; Service 10:00 AM Tuesday (8/15/2023) at Roeder Mortuary 11710 Standing Stone Gretna, NE; Private burial at Mount Auburn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for later designation.
