Lee was born on a farm 10 miles northeast of Ord, NE, where he spent his growing up years. He was an only child, having four siblings who died shortly after birth. He graduated from high school in Woodburn, OR, and attended business school in Chicago. He served in WWII, and spent the entire time at a Station Hospital in Recife, Brazil. His career was with KN Gas Company where he became a division manager. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. During his entire life, he busied himself with woodworking, genealogy, collecting recipes, raising various species of creatures, and other hobbies too numerous to mention. When he got his first computer in the early 1980’s, all other hobbies paled in comparison. He was still active on it in his 90’s.His gentle nature and gift for keeping in touch and including others made him loved and respected by family and friends.

Preceded in death by 4 infant siblings; first wife Merna to whom he was married 57 years; Survived by wife: Pauline to whom he was married 15 years; daughters: Deannie Price, Kathy Govier; 7 grandchildren: Jay Price, Corey Price, Darin Price, April Falzone, Curt Pedersen, Matt Pedersen, Brad Pedersen; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; Also survived by stepdaughters: Linda Longwell, Carol Rushton; 3 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service 2 PM Friday at Brookestone Village 4330 S. 144th St Omaha, Nebraska
