Kimberly Marie Snider

Kimberly Marie Hoffman, born August 31, 1961, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Kim was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend to many. Her warmth and generous spirit touched countless lives throughout her lifetime journey.

A 1979 graduate of Northwest High School in Omaha, Kim built a distinguished career serving others with grace and professionalism. She spent two-plus decades as an executive assistant at Mutual of Omaha and CSO insurance companies, where she earned deep respect from colleagues and forged lifelong friendships that endured beyond her time there.

Kim's professional career continued at TAC Air at Eppley Airfield, where she became an indispensable presence to travelers from all walks of life. On a first-name basis with luminaries including Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, she ensured that celebrities passing through Omaha—from Harrison Ford to Howie Mandel—received thoughtful touches like meals from their favorite local restaurants. She once had the unique honor of driving a van of Secret Service Advance Team members during a presidential campaign, delivering them directly onto their transport plane. Over the years, Kim assisted countless famous athletes, coaches, musicians, actors, business, and government officials. Yet she remained remarkably humble about these experiences, never seeking the spotlight herself. Kim’s integrity and professionalism—never asking for pictures, autographs, or special favors—earned her genuine respect from everyone she served. Her matter-of-fact demeanor and steadfast reliability made her extraordinary in the most ordinary ways. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

When health challenges ended her beloved work at TAC Air, Kim redirected her boundless energy toward what mattered most: her grandchildren. She became their biggest cheerleader, present at every game and event, cheering from the sidelines. Together with her husband Rich, she also created precious memories during overnight visits filled with card games, movies, and laughter.

Kim and her longtime husband Rich shared many joys beyond family. They were passionate fans of their beloved Nebraska Husker Football Team and the Kansas City Chiefs. They enjoyed visits to local casinos and loved sharing lunch or dinner together at spots where they could play KENO—always chasing that ultimate jackpot but, in the end, treasuring most the time spent together.

Kim is survived by her husband, Richard Snider, daughter Amber (Neil) McElroy, grandchildren Gabby and Isaiah Ivens, Johnathan and Jordan McElroy, brother Ron (Peggy; April) Hoffman, sister Shari Hoffman, sister-in-law Monica Snider, step-children, Tom (Crissa; Vance, Page) Snider, Michelle Snider (Gena) and other beloved family and friends.

Kim was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ena Hoese, parents Dorothy Hoffman and E. Ronald Hoffman, and grandson Lucas McElroy.

A Memorial Service for Kim will be held, beginning at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Christ Community Church, 404 South 108th Ave., in Omaha, Nebraska.
