Springfield - Kenn Alan Schutte. June 28,1949 - Feb. 9, 2023. Army Purple Heart Veteran. Kenn had a zest for life, a quiet side, but he could touch your heart with such kindness and sincerity yet crack a joke to break the intensity of a situation. He was loved by many, but with all of the love and heartache he endured during his lifetime, with losing the love of his life, a daughter, and his second love, his heart grew too weak to pump, and he passed away with family by his side. Preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Kathy (Sedlacek) 38yrs; daughter: Kerri (Schutte) Starr; second wife: Mary Katherine (Fowler/Hagin) 12yrs; sisters & brothers-in-law: Joane (Norman) Connelly, Richard (Millie) Sedlacek, Ed Sedlacek, Jean Sedlacek, & Evelyn Nekuda. Survived by aunts: Janeen Bruner and Carole Wilkinson; brothers: Phil (Barb) Schutte, David (Andrea) Pendley, Sister Ephie Brand Sietz, brothers-in-law: William (Mary Ellen) Sedlacek, John Sedlacek, Elaine Sedlacek; daughter: Kwin (Jason) Moran; son-in-law: Patrick Starr; step-son: Joseph Hagin; grandchildren: Shelbi & Sierra Starr, Kenden & Kasen Moran, Kira, Pierce, and Joseph, Jr. (Brian) Hagin, Callie(Carlos)Torres & Ashley Stoner; 4 great-grandchildren: (Melody, Bella, Carlos Jr., and Nicolas); and many other nieces and nephews
