Keith L. Austin

Keith L. Austin passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at the age of 80. Son of Leland and Bertha Austin of Julesburg, Colorado, Keith was born March 21st, 1944 in Ovid, Colorado. Keith married Linda (Ingwersen) on January 3rd, 1965 in Julesburg, Colorado. Keith is preceded in death by parents Leland and Bertha and wife Linda.

While we lost our beloved dad and grandpa, many have lost a friend and loved one in him. He has been a rock to many, always a helping hand to those in need and an individual that lived a life of gratitude. The later part of his life he lived to spend time with family and friends, build hot rods and collect old cars. A jack of all trades, he could fix anything and enjoyed the challenge of creating something out of nothing, sharing his knowledge and skills with those that needed assistance. We will miss his smile, his will to persevere and get the job done and the kindness, appreciation, and generosity he showed to all those who knew him.

Keith is survived by daughter Tami Austin, son Paul (Betsy) Austin, grandchildren Meagan (Jack) Reiman, Sarah Austin, Katheryn Austin and great grandchild Charlotte Reiman. Keith is the youngest of three sons born to Leland and Bertha and is survived by two older brothers Neil (Bernadette) and Gary (Jan). 

Internment and celebration of life will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Julesburg, Colorado at a date to be announced.
