Kathleen "Kathy" Menard Schneider

Kathy lived her life with a quiet strength, a big heart, and a sense of humor that could brighten even the hardest days. She adored her family and poured her love into raising her children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren with patience, warmth, and a little bit of well‑timed sarcasm. She found joy in the simple things — tending to her flowers, working in her garden, and surrounding herself with the people she loved most. 

Her home was a reflection of her creativity and spirit: the bright, colorful “Crayola house,” her hand‑painted family tree wall, and the cheerful yard decorations that made her space feel welcoming to everyone who visited. Her legacy lives on in the generations she helped shape and in the memories she created through her love, her laughter, and the home she built around her family.

Celebration of Life for Kathy Schneider Our family will be hosting a family‑led Celebration of Life to honor Kathy in a warm, casual, and family‑focused way.

Date: Sunday, April 26th, 2026 Time: 2:00–4:30 PM (come and go) Location: Rivers Edge Pavilion Address: 4250 River’s Edge Parkway, Council Bluffs, IA

Parking is free and available along the street or in the parking garage just south of the pavilion.

Light lunch and snacks will be provided. We welcome friends and family to bring a story, photo, or memory to share — especially the ones that show her warm humor and gentle sarcasm.
