2727 N. 108th St. Omaha, NE 68164 496-9000 Karen Sue Hitt was born on October 18, 1942 in Omaha to William “Jack” Allen and Marguerite Allen.  After graduation from Benson High School she married the love of her life Charles Gordon Hitt.  She had 2 daughters Debra Kay Hitt and Kathryn Ann Wesemann.  She worked full-time from 1973 till 1988 in Communications at both Methodist Hospital and Nebraska Medical Center.  She was very proud of her 3 grandchildren Matthew Charles Wesemann, Nicholas Allen Wesemann and Jennifer Ann Wesemann.  She was involved in many activities such as Girl Scouts, Bowling Leagues, Knitting Club, Square Dancing, and Trivial Pursuit Club.  She enjoyed spending free time on hobbies including reading, knitting, crossword puzzles, playing board games, camping, and decorating her home for all the Holidays. Even with a full and busy life most of all she loved spending time visiting and telling jokes to her many friends and family. After a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease she was taken to Heaven to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Marilyn Allen. Survived by Husband of 59 years Charles, daughter Debi Hitt, daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Duane Wesemann; Grandchildren Matthew, Nicholas, and Jennifer Wesemann.
