Julie Marie Brown

Julie was born in Omaha, NE. She was a graduate of North High in 1970. She worked at Mutual of Omaha for a few years. Later she was in a relationship for about 20 years and lived in LA and Sacramento California. She moved back to Omaha and resided at her parents' home and worked in the accounting field at various companies with her last employment at the Salvation Army. After employment she cared for her parents' full time.

Julie seldom went to the doctor. She was a health-conscious person always eating a healthy diet, but a few years after the passing of her parents she was hospitalized with Covid-19. Her health took a turn, and she developed many health issues needing many specialists and moved into Hickory Villa Assisted Living. She eventually was diagnosed with Parkinson's.

She recovered enough to spend time with her assisted living community. Julie enjoyed doing puzzles, bingo, card games with friends and family there. She would spend time with colored pencils and colored nice pictures. To our surprise she designed her own gravestone. She enjoyed visits from Lonnie, Wayne, Jan, Ron, Bev, Jessann, and her children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Edna Brown. Julie is survived by her three brothers, Wayne (Jan) Brown, Ronal (Bev) Brown, Lonnie Brown, nephew Brian (Masego) Brown and their daughter Lily, niece Jessann (Lance) Molina and their children David, Hunter, and Elle.
