Julia M. Woods

Ms. Julia Marie Woods, (aka: Suga foot) age 53, resident of Omaha, Nebr. passed away on December 21, 2023. Julia was born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 6, 1970 to Judy Woods and Leon Tyler. She was the last child of seven. She attended North High School.

She gave birth to two beautiful girls: Laquina Marie Woods and Ann Marie Woods. She stayed at home with her mom and daughters, until illness stepped in. Julia was a loving mother, A Great Daughter, Sister and Friend. She will be deeply missed. Julia was a loving, caring and a trusted friend to many, and will be deeply missed. She enjoyed music, cross word puzzles, crocheting and reading. She never met a stranger; she was loved by all that crossed her path.

She is preceded in death by Father: Leon Tyler and Sister: Shelia Y. Thompson.

She leaves to cherish her memories; Mother: Judy Woods, Daughters, Laquina Woods and Ann Woods: Sisters: Pat Hartfield (Texas) Sherline Woods, Brothers: Aaron Gibbs (Lincoln Nebr.)., Dwayne Gibbs, and Courtney Woods (Wisconsin) and a host of aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Roeder Mortuary – Ames Chapel. Visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Services will be livestreamed below.
