Joshua Patrick Leach

Joshua Patrick Leach passed away quietly on July 25, 2023.  Joshua was born in North Platte, NE on March 17, 1977.  Throughout his childhood, Joshua was very active in a variety of sports and excelled in each of them. 

Upon completion of high school, Joshua enlisted in the United States Air Force.  After he completed basic training, Joshua was stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.  Joshua spent most of his active duty in Germany but he also spent a few months in Africa and Saudi Arabia.  After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Joshua went to college where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Biology.  Joshua began working for the USDA as an inspector at multiple meat packing plants in several locations, the most recent being in Omaha.  Joshua enjoyed his work and performed it very well.

Joshua had a good heart and often took time to help others, often doing that anonymously to not draw recognition to himself.  Joshua was passionate about punk rock music, tattoos, and his family who he loved very much.

Joshua is survived by his parents, brother, sister, daughter, son, grandsons, multiple nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles, and many friends, all of whom will miss Joshua greatly.  Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle.

A private graveside ceremony will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family simply asks that you take a few moments to hug your loved ones.  Memorials may be sent to the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE.
