Jonelle 'Joni' Marie Vanzago

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Jonelle Vanzago (69) of Omaha on May 16, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by children Nikki Vanzago and Brad Vanzago, parents Glenn and Lucille Kendall, and sister Katherine Thaten.

Survived by husband Steve Vanzago, daughter Lisa (Devin) Smith, daughter in-law Katie Chase Vanzago, grandchildren Kain Vanzago and Dylan Smith, and sister Glenda Lorenzen.

Joni's love for cooking for others, listening to live music and entertaining at the pool brought joy to everyone she met.
