John B. Rogers

John Bernard Rogers, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2024. He was 82 years old. 

John was preceded in death by his parents: Bernice and Bernard Rogers; his daughter: Misty; his brother: Terry; and his sister: Kay. He is survived by his devoted wife: Michelle Rogers; his daughter: Sheri Rogers; and his sons: Johnny and Steven Rogers. He also leaves behind countless grandchildren who brought him immense joy and pride. 

A lifelong sports enthusiast, John was best known as an unwavering fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, his favorite team. He could often be found cheering them on with unmatched enthusiasm, no matter the season. 

John proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966. His dedication to his family, his country, and his favorite sports team will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Visitation 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday (10/11/2024) with Rosary 6:30 PM at Roeder Mortuary 2727 N. 108th St. Omaha, NE. Please wear your Nebraska Huskers gear to the services  

Luncheon 1:00 - 5:00 PM Saturday at the VFW Post #2503 8904 Military Rd, Omaha, NE.
