Omaha - Survived by wife Shirley, Brother Jim Rettig, Daughter Bambi Heckerman and husband Jim, Son Tom Rettig, and step children Lori Johnson, Brian Barmettler, Tim Barmettler and wife JoAnn, Lisa Holdorf and husband Kregg, Scott Barmettler. Nine Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Emery L and Rose Romaine Rettig of Illinois City, Ill and Brother Wilford Rettig and wife Marna of Coal Valley, Illinois.

Memorial Service 1:00 PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. Mark Lutheran Church 1821 N. 90th Street Omaha, Nebraska.
