John Galvan, 63 of Washington, NE. Survived by his wife Brenda, son Patrick, daughter Amber; sister Angela (Dave Johnson), brother Perry (Debbie). He was preceded in death by his parents John and Suzanne Galvan and his sister Gail Jensen.
Born in Minnesota, John enlisted in the Air Force after high school. He served at Malmstrom Air Base in Great Falls, Montana as a Security Specialist. Following his time in the Air Force, John chose to work with computers. He started as a programmer and retired as a Director of IT.
Because of his love of nature, John always said “When I die, just prop me up against a tree in the woods.” To honor this, in the spring of 2025, John’s ashes will be mixed with the soil at the base of a tree in The St. Croix Valley Memorial Forest in Minnesota.
