Jo Ann Barrickman

Jo Ann was born October 20, 1935 in Des Moines, IA. She was the 2nd eldest of 12 children and moved to Omaha, NE where she met and married David Barrickman on June 7, 1953. They were blessed with 4 children. Deborah, Steven, David & Laurie. She worked for Omaha Public School's for many years until she retired. She enjoyed going to exercise class and out to lunch with friends whenever possible.

In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband & son (Davey), 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her daughters Debbie and Laurie; son Steve; son in law Lynn; 5 grandkids: Adam, Chris, Ashley, Baylee and Kylee; 4 great-grandkids: Jaiden, A'rayah, Jaivier, Kayden and 1 soon to be Samson; 3 brothers: Bill (Maureen), Buddy (Carol) and Gary (Glenda); 2 sisters: Linda and Marilyn (Steve); brother-in-law Jim; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday (7/16/2025) at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th Street, Omaha.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday (7/17/2025) at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th Street, Omaha.

Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park.
