James E. Cundall, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. James was known for his big personality, sharp wit, and an unwavering love for life’s simple joys.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, James spent his life devoted to his family, friends, and the passions that brought him happiness. He found serenity on the water while fishing, excitement at the casino, and endless joy in watching football, golf, and other sports. Whether sharing a laugh over a family dinner or enjoying a drink with friends, James cherished the time spent with his loved ones.

James is survived by his wife Deb Cundall, his 3 children, Tracy and Mike McBreen, Mike and Becky Cundall, Brad and Chrissy Cundall, and their 6 grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Trent, Brady, Ryan, and Lane who will forever remember his kindness, strength, and the countless memories made together. He was preceded in death by his father, James Sr, his mother, Naomi, and his sister Linda and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of James’s life will be held at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N 108th Street, Omaha, NE 68164 on Jan. 18, 2025, with visitation beginning at 11:00am and a memorial service starting at noon.

May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and light he brought to the world.
