Jessie moved to Omaha in 1973 and was a retired construction worker.

In June of 1971, Jessie married Lucy Sullivan and to this union 3 children were born: Gary Sullivan, Jessie Jr., and Latashia Sullivan.

Jessie leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 46 years Lucy; Son Gary Sullivan; Daughter Latashia; 7 brothers; 14 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Son Jessie, Jr.
