Jeannette Arlena Davis, was born a twin on October 17,1956, who sister died at birth, to Jerry Maurice Davis and Audrey Arlena Davis, who preceded her in death.

Jeannette was a very sweet high-spirited woman who loved to learn, dancing at the sock hops at Horace Mann Junior High, and having fun. She graduated from Central High with high honors in 1975. Life changed for her when she was 18, and contracted Spinal Meningitis that almost took her from us, but she survived. She was a fighter all her life, strong willed and determined.

Jeannette was baptized at the age of 16 at Tabernacle of Faith Church. She loved listening to the preaching of the word, as her eyes lit up with wonder. She always called Jesus her friend.
