James Stolmeier, 74, of Valley, Nebraska, formerly Davenport, Iowa, passed away on March 31st, 2024, surrounded by family. James was a humble Christian, loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a brother to 11 siblings. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in all of our hearts.
James attended Colorado State University and St. Ambrose, earning his degree in civil engineering and a MBA. He owned and operated Big River Technologies, collaborated on many engineering teams and was a construction project manager across the country, however, his most meaningful time was spent as a grandfather. James loved the outdoors and cherished family camping adventures at Devils Lake in Wisconsin.
