Calvary Cemetery James Michael Gillespie went into the loving arms of Jesus on February 6, 2021. He was born on January 28, 1981 in Omaha, NE. When Jimmy was younger, he enjoyed playing pee-wee football, all the way through high school football. Jimmy was a strategic chess player, and monopoly fanatic.  When he was a young boy, he liked to break things, later in life he liked to fix things. He was a hard worker and could figure out how to fix anything. Most of all Jimmy loved being a father to his daughter, Dakota.  She is his pride and joy. Since Jimmy was the first grandbaby in our family, he had a special bond with his aunts and uncles and grandparents. Our family dog, cupcake, was drawn to him, protective of him, and slept under his bed each night. Jimmy will be missed dearly by his family. Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Dakota, his mom and dad, Terri and Saul Kaiman, his brother Christopher, his sister Beverly, and nephews Tristan and Grayson.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his father, James M Gillespie, Sr.
