James Lee Dooley
James graduated from Bensen High before joining the Army in 1958. He served for 21 years, 4 of which he spent in Viet Nam. He was also a graduate of UNL.
Preceded in death by wife Carolyn and son Patrick. Survived by wife Jane Mullen; daughter Lori; son Corey; step-son Brian (Deanna) Mullen; step-daughters Mary (Greg) Paskevic, Michelle (Frank) Fibich, and Monica (Marty) Smith; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass 10 am Friday (1/10/2025) at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 508 Angus Street Gretna, with visitation from 9-10 am.
Interment 1:30pm Monday (1/13/2025) at Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Rd.
