Irene E. Ford

6/11/1926 - 4/15/2021 Irene E. Ford, age 94, of Carter Lake passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021. Irene was born on her parents farm in McPherson County, SD. She was one of eleven children. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, card playing, cross word puzzles, crocheting and later in life singing old tunes from her childhood. She spent many hours with friends at The Center in Carter Lake. Most friends and family loved being party to her engaging wit and the time of giving and taking a good tease. Her passing was preceded by sons, Marvin Richards, Johnnie Richards. Surviving family members are son, Lloyd Richards , daughters’ Linda LeBrun , Kathy Galle , Marilyn Richards-Sprouse, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
