Ida Louise Rose

Age 78 – Louise Rose passed on April 16, 2024, in her home surrounded by family.

Louise Rose, daughter of Lizzie Mae & Roosevelt Collier, was born Ida Louise Collier on August 12, 1945, in Junction City, Arkansas. She was affectionately known by most of her family as "Louise," "Grandma," or "TiTi." Louise loved God and loved her family. She and her family relocated from Arkansas to Omaha, NE, when she was a young girl. Louise graduated from Tech High School in 1963. After high school, she relocated to Chicago briefly before returning to Omaha, which would become her home. Louise attended Hope & Refuge Ministries, Inc., where she was a member and honorary church mother.

In early 1995, Louise reconnected with her high school friend Charles Rose. Later that year, in October, they exchanged vows and remained until his passing on February 25, 2019.

Louise's departure leaves a void that can never be filled. She was a pillar of strength and love for her family, always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. She is preceded in death by Charles Rose (husband), Lizzie Mae Moore (mother), Roosevelt Collier (father), Roy Lee Collier (brother), Earline Collier & Harriet "Maxine" Brown (sisters), Cheryl Rich (daughter), Jamelle (MeMe) Collier, Christian Collier & JuaQuetta William (grandchildren), and Katie Stanfield (honorary sister). She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, cherished by her sister Lizzie "Jeanette" Marion, children Geraldine (Daryl) William, Gaye Collier, Robert Collier, Lawrence Collier, Terrence Collier, LaShonda (Eric) Richardson, Tanisha Collier, 28 grandchildren (Cameron, Shamone, Dakayla, Antonio, LaTesa, Yolanda, Michael, Shiniqua, Deon, Dominique, Danielle, Darlene, Ailya, La'Shay, Latasha, IImmoni, Jeremy, Garrett, Lawrence Jr., Dontae, Tevin, Antazinia, Terry Jr., Nali, T'Sean, Carmello, Ah'Monii, Luvu'yueah), 58 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her local church family.
