Henry Everett Thornton III

Age 70 – Henry Everett Thornton III Or as we called him (Boe) was born To the late Lucille (Stelly) Wright And Henry, Everett Thornton Jr On November 25, 1953 in Beaumont Texas.

In Henry’s youth years the family moved to Omaha where he attended central grade school, tech, junior high and tech high school. Where he later graduated from Tech high school in 1972.

After Graduating Boe Join the US Army on June 27, 1973. He serves six years and later went back home to Omaha to work for the Douglas County and VA hospitals for many years.

Henry(“Boe”) Loved his family very much, although he never married, or had children of his own, he loved all his nieces and nephews dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister(cousin) Linda Vaughn-Bey, nephew Terrence Wells, three uncles, Freddy, Matthew & Clarence Stelly and aunt Lillian Jones. 

He leaves to cherish two sisters, Jean(Jackie) Godfrey, and Jennifer Creighton, three nephews Cory Godfrey Courtney (Kelliee)Dawson And Christopher Butler. One Niece Christiana Creighton And a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday (2/6/2024) at Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Avenue, Omaha, NE. Graveside Service: Wednesday (2/7/2024) 11:00 AM at Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE.
