Hal Gerrad Perry

On a beautiful 45 degree March day at Saint Josephs Hospital, Norman and Wilma Perry welcomed their 3rd son & last child to complete their family. Hal Perry was welcomed home by brothers, Randy & Grant, & sister Candy. They currently lived at 2726 South 10th Street. In 1966, the family moved to 3336 Walnut Street in the Field club area where Hal attended elementary school & later Pratt school on 51st & Leavenworth.

Hal never walked away from hard work. He worked many years at the neighborhood Richie's Chicken & Hamburgers, had his own small mowing business, then later working different areas for Goodwill. He was proud of his work & accomplishments,

Hal's love of family was endless. He doted on his nieces & nephews. Animals were also considered family to him. He once owned a Blue Doberman named "Spartacus". They were inseparable.

Alcoholics Anonymous helped Hal achieve a notable milestone of 37+ years of sobriety. Along wit AA & many supporting family & friends, they guided Hal on this journey. Hal was proceeded in death by his parents, Norman & Wilma Perry, & brother, Randy Perry.

Surviving Hal's passing is brother, Grant (Jill) Perry, sister, Candy Minor, nephews, Derek, Aaron (Destany), Blake (Amy) Minor, nieces, Charmaine & Emily Perry, Sunny Washington, Ann (Travis) Musil, Beth (Mike) Foster, great nieces & nephews, Baisia, Aydan, Jaxon, Jace, Jayne, Kate, Audrey, Dakota, Marty, Georgia, & Luke.

Visitation with the family will be at 10:00am Wednesday, (10/14/2026), at Roeder Mortuary (2727 N. 108th Street) followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00am
