Preceded in death by his father and mother: Ray and Dorothy O'Dowd; brother: Rodney O'Dowd; mother and father-in-law: Wanda and Edward Tibke.

Survived by loving wife: Michele; children: Aaron (Tracey) O'Dowd, Priscilla (Josh) Petersen, Preston O'Dowd; grandson: Colton; Siblings: Byron (Mary) O'Dowd, Keith (Linnea) O'Dowd, Yvonne O'Dowd, Darwin O'Dowd, Rodney (Connie) O'Dowd, Vincent (Sherry) O'Dowd, Marcella (Tim) Shurts, and Colleen (Mike) Schroeder; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Gerald (Jake) passed away in the loving arms of his family, he had many great accomplishments in his life, but the most important to him was his family. He will be loved by all and remembered forever.
