McShane & Florian Szawicki; grandson: Scott David Alstadt; close friend: Ole Kaher; Survived by children: Frances Johnston, Rich McShane , Karen Bell; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Genevieve was born on the family farm outside Dunlap, Iowa. Her birth Mother Frances was ill and died when she was only 13 days old. Genevieve was then taken in by her mother’s sister Amelia and her husband. Her Aunt and Uncle adopted her and she was raised as a Heller. She was reintroduced to her Larson birth family as an early teenager. Genevieve developed a deep affection for both the Larson/Heller family throughout her entire lifetime staying in close contact with extended families. With her death, it is believed that there are no other living relatives from that generation.
