Gary D. Barnes

Age 53 - Gary Davis Sr. was born June 14th, 1970 to parents Ruby Barnes and Dwight Kennedy in Taylorville, Mississippi. He was successful in his career, working for over a decade at Airlight Plastics. Despite his health struggles later in life, Gary maintained high spirits and always stood strong in his beliefs. He sadly succumbed to his health on October 29th, 2023.

Gary leaves behind the only woman he truly loved, his mama Ruby, and also his children Jasmine, Gary Jr. , James, Jataya, all residing in Omaha.   Gary is also survived by his five grandchildren, Jayah, Jyrelle, Journey, Jizelle Banres, and Grayson Lee Lecher of Lincoln. 

Gary will truly be missed by everyone who loved him.

Services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Roeder Mortuary, Ames Chapel.  Services will be conducted by Pastor Eugene Rollerson. Visitation from noon to 1 PM with Funeral Service at 1 PM.   Services will be livestreamed below.  Repass at New Hope Church, 1410 North 30th Street following services.
