Gary B. Burr

Gary Brent Burr passed from this life December 8, 2025 to be with the Lord. He was born November 9, 1942 in Los Angeles, California to Stelina and Clement Burr. Gary was raised in Sioux City, Iowa where he lived until being transferred with Northwestern Bell Company. Gary retired from there after working as a Yellow Page Advertising Consultant for thirty-three years.

Gary is survived by his wife of forty-five years: Bev Burr; daughters: Kelli Johnson (MN) and Kim Brummer (Omaha); step-son: Jeff Bell (Omaha); and brother: Rolland (and wife Sally) Burr (IA). He was a loving grandfather to Ryann, Shania, Jarrett, Hannah, Quinn, and Lia. Gary was a great-grandfather to nine youngsters. He also had three nieces. Gary was preceded in death by his parents: Clem and Stelina; and brother: Douglas Burr.

Memorial Service 1:00 PM Monday (12/15/2025) at Roeder Mortuary 11710 Standing Stone Dr. Gretna, NE. A luncheon will be held following the services at Gretna United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be directed to Lifegate Christian School in Omaha.
