Francis "Frank" L. Miller

Francis “Frank” Lee Miller, age 86 passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Francis “Frank” was born on April 17th, 1937 to Lee D and Pearl M Miller in Omaha Nebraska. Frank grew up in Omaha, NE and went to Tech High School, graduating in 1955. Frank met the love of his life Suzanne in 1956 and married on February 19, 1958, in Yankton, South Dakota. Frank and Suzanne just celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Frank had a passion for cars, snowmobiles, camping, fishing, boats, & fixing things. There wasn’t anything that he couldn’t fix or repair. Frank was a lifelong animal lover with many dogs throughout his life. Frank was self-employed owning J & R Garage for 30+ years after purchasing the business from his father Lee, which was started in 1941. Frank retired in 2005 after Creighton University purchased his property which allowed him to enjoy a wonderful 19 years of retirement.

Frank is survived by his wife, Suzanne, daughters, Barb, her husband Tom Miller, Lori, her husband Reid Steinkraus and son, Billy Miller, and sister-in-law Jackie Colman. Frank also was survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many, many friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Lee D and Pearl M Miller and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Saturday (3/9/2024) at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th Street, Omaha, NE. Private family internment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
