Floyd C. Johnson, Sr.

May 5, 1942 - August 17, 2020. Floyd Charles Johnson, Sr., was born in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and Saint Louis University with his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Urban Affairs/Sociology. He later relocated to St. Louis, MO., where he met the love of his life, Vera Mae White. They were married on February 24, 1973. Floyd Sr., was a loving husband and caring father and grandfather. He departed his earthly home peacefully to enter his heavenly home on Monday, August 17, 2020. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Vera M. Johnson. He leaves to cherish his kind heart and faith in God, daughters: Tracy E. White, Michelle and Cheryl Lang and son: Floyd C. Johnson, Jr., ; 4 grand-daughters: Kelli, Jessica and Bre-Anna White and Kalil Johnson; 5 great-grandchildren: Pasha Martin, Janiya White, MaKynle Martin, Marcell Easter and Sky Bearfield. One sister in law: Nicole Thomas and a host of special nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special friend: Elder Earl M. Davis. Special daughter: Doreen Biggs.
