Everett L. Payne

Everett Leon Payne was born on November 3, 1933, in Sedalia Missouri to the late Thomas Arlander Payne and Minister Mattie Lewis Crump. He was the youngest of six children. Everett accepted Christ at a young age, and due to his mother pastoring the church, he was baptized several times (according to him). His favorite scripture was 1 Peter 2:24.

He is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his son Timothy (Virginia) Payne; daughters, Rev. Bobbie Anderson and Andrell Summage; grandchildren, Kenneth (Myhesha) Payton, Justin (Precious) Payne, Braxton Summage, Brittany Payne and Temple Summage; great grandchildren, Kenneth Payton Jr., King Payton, Elijah King, Cartier Payton and Saileigh June Scott; brothers-in- law, Larry (Rosetta) and Arland (Kathy) Simmons, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
