Omaha - Eugene “Gene” Lee Barker, age 79, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Cookie; Son, Todd T. Smith; daughters, Pamela Sadler (Kevin), Cheryl Parks (Jesse McGhee), Vanessa Kellogg (Michael); sister Carol Kellogg (Marvin); stepson, Jose Jefferson (Kari);stepdaughter, Jackie Rivera (Luis); niece, Danette Hogan (Steven), seven grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

Visitation Wednesday 10 - 11 AM at Roeder Mortuary. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday (12/18/24) at Roeder Mortuary. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donation to Cookie Barker.
