Elwories "Johnny" Rencher of Omaha, NE Age 88, was born on July 9, 1938 in Scooba, Mississippi to Obie Dee Rencher and Thelma Lucille Harrison Rencher. He was the 2nd oldest of six boys. He enjoyed his youth years in Mississippi until the age of 19, where he headed for the Midwest. He spent many years living in St. Louis and Chicago before reaching his destination to Omaha, Nebraska.
May 5, 1963, he married his wife, the late, Margie Ruth Rencher. Ten years later they born their first child together, Lakesha Lynn Rencher. He also inherited a stepson, Fred Williams, of Miami Florida.
Johnny fathered four children and has nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jonny was like a father to many and an uncle to most, giving him the nickname "Uncle Johnny". He loved his Cadillacs and motorcycles. For decades he devoted his time to the Los Diablos Motorcycle Club and even became the President for many years.
Johnny worked for the Swift Packing House in South Omaha for over 20 years. Johnny also worked for the Omaha Public School District for many years concluding to his retirement. Johnny enjoyed watching sports in his recliner! He loved long conversations with his brothers on the phone and loved cracking jokes and making people laugh.
Johnny didn't take any disrespect and rarely ever repeated himself twice. He was loving, kind, helpful, dependable, and someone you could always count on. Johnny was also a loving husband, nurturing father, and a superman for a Grandpa! He will be forever missed and leaves a permanent mark on our hearts. Long live our king, Elwories "Johnny" Rencher.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memory to brothers: Obie "Clyde" Rencher, Otis Thomas "Tee" Rencher, Russell James Rencher, Gene Autry "Nunt" Rencher, and Joseph Carroll "Joe" Rencher; children: Lakeesha Lynn Rencher, Fred Williams, Lonnie "George" Wills, and Ozzie Dean Rencher; grandchildren: Taia Milynn Rencher, Kinae Tilynn Lavone Walton, Nekeida Poindexter, Kimberley Darden, Stephanie Hartsfield, Tremaine Deon Rencher, Lonetta Glenn, Needra Lewis, and Edward Lewis; special friend: Lotharee Gregory; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to miss and cherish him and carry on his legacy.
