Elizabeth "Betty" H. Simonson

Betty Simonson 91 was born in Omaha, Nebraska on December 21st 1933, to Fred and Dorothy Hamilton. She passed away peacefully on May 26th, 2025 after a short illness. She was proceeded in death by her husband Thomas, her mother and father Fred and Dorothy Hamilton, Brother Al, her son Donald and her daughter Barbara. She is survived by her daughter Lynn (Robert) Higdem, son Wayne, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Her extraordinary devotion to others led her to become an ICU nurse at Methodist and Veterans hospitals in Omaha, Nebraska.

Visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday May 30, 2025 at Mount View Presbyterian Church - 5308 Hartman Avenue Omaha, Nebraska. Services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church, with graveside services at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
