Inurnment:

Creston, IA Betsye Paragas passed away peacefully on July 22nd, 2022. Betsye worked as an educator for many years, and then went on to serve the Omaha community at the Omaha Children’s Museum for a number of years. She then enjoyed an amazing career in the Arts, serving the Omaha Community Playhouse and Opera Omaha. She also was a board member for the Friends of Children’s Hospital and Nebraskans for the Arts. She loved her family fiercely and she will be deeply missed by her family and many close friends. Betsye passed the same way she lived her entire life, with grace, elegance and dignity. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Paragas and brother Vincent Bradley. Betsye is survived by her son: Randy Paragas, daughter: Charlotte McGuire , sister: Brenda Rookiard , brother: Albert Bradley , Grandchildren: Stephany Bailes , Kari Whitten , and Bradley Paragas, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many close and dear friends. Memorials to the family for later designation.
