Edward Douglas LaMay

On Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, Edward Douglas LaMay (aka Doug), passed away at the age of 68.

Edward was born October 21st, 1957 to Robert LaMay Jr. and Tina Mae LaMay.

Our brother was cared for by Glenwood Resource Center and later transferred to Hands of the Heartland residential group home. Most of his life he was a state ward due to his severe disability.

Although Doug was no longer in the care of his family, he was always loved by family. Our hearts are breaking now that his presence has moved on. He's now in the care of our Lord. Thank you Glenwood and Hands of Heartland for the care and love you provided Doug.

Doug is survived by his brother, Donald Doolin Jr., sisters Marie Doolin, Marjorie Cook, and Lynnelle LaMay-Poe.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert LaMay Jr., mother Tina Mae LaMay, and brother, Nathan W. Doolin.

Doug is forever in loving memory.
