Edward G Hodges

Omaha - EDWARD GERARD HODGES was born January 19, 1955, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Eddie passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, October 18, 2023, at the age of 68.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Alma Hodges.

Eddie is survived by five siblings: brother, Joseph Hodges (Donna), Chula Vista, CA; sisters, Eva Hodges Greene, Santee, CA; Millie Hodges-Lemon (Thomas); Geri Hodges-Hogan (Leslie), Richelle Lambrazzio; his lifetime companion, Roberta Kisling; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He is a graduate of Omaha Tech High School (1972), and he worked as a Douglas County 911 dispatcher for 31 years before retiring.  His hobbies included boating and jet skiing, and he LOVED music.  He especially loved being “Uncle Eddie” to his 86 nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Friday, November 10, 2023, 5:00 - 6:30 PM with the Memorial Service at 6:30 PM at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N 108th Street, Omaha, NE 68164.
