Edna E. Griffin

Edna Earl Griffin was born to L.C. Griffin and Indie Lee Woods in Preston, Mississippi on September 20, 1947. She was number 8 of 11 children. Edna then made her way to Omaha, Nebraska where later on had her loving sons David and Jason. Edna was proud of her sons as they have grown into loving, caring men that provided her with 2 adorable grandchildren, Samantha age 15 and Jason Jr. age 7.

Edna devoted her life to the love of children. She watched many kids in the north Omaha area for well over 25 years.  Every day she got up before the crack of dawn to head to the daycare and watch all the little ones. Edna had a love of the 2-piece chicken meal at Popeyes, she loved going to Red Lobster and Longhorn’s Steakhouse, too. There wasn’t a purse she did not have. From the big suitcases to the little handbags, she had them all.

She loved people. She would sit down and talk with anyone that was willing to listen. She always looked for the best bargains and loved her shoes! One thing is adored was watching her grandchildren. They gave her so much happiness.  She was always there for them with a stern voice and love in her heart.
