Doug Carlson was born August 14, 1945 in Homer Nebraska to Erwin and Delores Carlson. He graduated from Oakland High School. On November 18

, 1972, he married his best friend and love of his life, Judy Grimm. They have two daughters and three grandchildren. Doug served his country in the Army Reserves. He was a man of deep faith and member of Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gretna. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and a loyal Chiefs and Huskers fan. Doug can be described as a family man, handy man and an all-around great guy! He was an unassuming, humble and generous man. Doug is preceded in death by his mom , dad , sister , and two nephews. Survivors include his four sisters, wife, two children, three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many good friends.
