Omaha - Dorothy “Dottie” Ann (Mostek) Norgard was born December 10, 1951 to Dennis Frank and Annie Marie (Becker) Mostek at West Point, Nebraska. She passed away September 7, 2024 as the result of an automobile accident. Dottie was baptized and confirmed at St Peters Lutheran Church in rural Pender, Nebraska. She graduated from Pender High School in 1970 and received her Licensed Practical Nurse’s degree from Northeast Community College in 1972. Upon graduation, she accepted a nursing position with Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, a step that flourished into a 45-year career in nursing. Dottie was united in marriage to the love her life, Carl Norgard. On February 10, 1984, their union was blessed with a daughter, Kelley. Dottie is remembered for her kind caring nature and the incredible love she had for her family. Good times spent with Dottie were often made happier by the sound of her infectious laugh. 

Dottie is survived by her daughter, Kelley Kennedy, granddaughters, Mercades, Alexis and Sophia, brothers Dennis (Mary) Mostek, Charlie (Pam) Mostek, Louie (Becky) Mostek, Leroy (Marjean) Mostek, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, brother, John Mostek, and sister-in-law Nola. 

Visitation Thursday 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Roeder Mortuary. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Friday (9/20/24) at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 4117 Terrace Dr. Omaha. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
