Doris (Dee) Gibbs Bennett

May 22, 1931-December 8, 2021 Dee was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Alice Knerl Gibbs, and her brother Richard Gibbs. She is survived by her husband Rod Bennett, daughters Diane Bennett, Sharon Dixon and Julie Coleman ; grandchildren Raquel Rodriguez , Jaimee Johanning , Kelsey Noble , Daryl Coleman and Brian Coleman ; 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Dee and Rod were married 71 years and were faithful Methodists, in recent years becoming members of Countryside Community Church. They vacationed across the U.S. with their girls and traveled abroad with dear friends. Dee had a grateful heart and a contented soul. She was an exceptional secretary and also loved music, baking and gardening. Her family was her joy and she sowed kindness wherever she went. She will be greatly missed by many.
