Age 89 – Dee was born in Morse Bluff, NE to Alvin L. Dvorak and Wilma Teresa Vopalensky Dvorak.
Dee attended country schools near Cedar Bluffs and Morse Bluff, and graduated from North Bend Central High School in 1950 where she was voted Homecoming Queen. After graduation she taught 2 years in country schools.
In 1952 she married Keith Hull. They lived near Ames, NE with their daughters, Sonia and Marlyce. In October 1956, Keith was tragically killed in an automobile accident.
In 1957 she married Bill Dahlheim who had a daughter Linda from a previous marriage. They moved to Omaha where their son Gregg was born.
In 1963 the family moved to an acreage outside of Gretna for 2 years before moving into town. Dee was a member of the United Methodist Church for over 50 years where she was active in various circles and the choir. She held several jobs in town as she raised her kids, the last being a Para for Gretna Public Schools for over 30 years, finally retiring at the age of 80.
She loved staying busy, but working outside in her yard and sitting on the porch visiting were her passions. Dee also enjoyed homemaking, dancing, camping, reading, crafts, and visiting. She loved Polka and Big Band music.
Her family was everything to her and she loved them dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, and her brother-in-law Lynn Keller. She is survived by husband Bill, daughters Sonia (Bill), Linda, Marlyce (Randy), and son Gregg (Kathy). 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, sister Sharon Keller, and many nieces and nephews.
