Dedra Faith Walker-Gladney

Dedra Faith Walker-Gladney Age 51 of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on April 14, 2020.  She was born on February 2, 1969 in Omaha, Nebraska to Steve and Delores Walker.  She graduated from Benson High School.

Dedra loved to get her hair and nails done every two weeks, she loved taking care of children outside of her own. She loved listening to music, spending time with her family and friends. She had a special place in her heart for little Major. Dedra gave at risk children a place to lay their head or food to eat and a listening ear. She impacted a lot of children's lives and before her death she was assisting some of them in raising their own children.

Dedra is survived by her mother; Delores Walker, sons; Demonte’ Walker, Steffond Walker, Devonte’ Walker, Cody Price and Sharda Price and Mecchia Griffin, brother: Bill Floyd, sisters; Jewel Walker, Terry Foster, Jenine Hightower, Matari Gray and Arriance Shaw, grandchildren; Amiya Price-Walker, Avery Walker, Devonte’ Walker Jr, Ta’Shod Walker, Kenneth Watson-Price, and Daivair Price, nieces; Valencia Ivory , Brittany Gray , and Caprice Gray , godchildren; Chaykayla Jones, Da’Marcion and Skylar Carney, longtime friends; Terry Murry, Chanel Morrow, Chandra Keyes and Chantel Thompson. She leaves behind a host of family, friends and children that she has impacted and touched their lives in one or another.

She is preceded in death by her father; Steve W. Walker and son; Antwan Walker.

A Celebration of her life will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 2, 2020
