Deborah A. Washington

Deborah Ann Washington 64, passed away Sunday December 4, 2022 at home in her sleep. Deb was born October 2, 1958, in Omaha, Nebraska she was the daughter of the late Ruth Mae Lawson and Wilford Washington.

Deborah went to Tech High School. Deborah was a devoted grandmother loved by all her grandkids. She loved dancing and drawing. She was very talented and had a big heart for everyone. To know her is to love her. She was a true disciplinarian and all the family knew who to call for reinforcement. Deborah lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and she will be deeply missed by all family and friends who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters Jassina Washington of Topeka, KS, Shontelle Washington of Omaha, NE LaSonja Kirksey (Eric Kirksey) of Dallas, TX, Quiyata Washington of Omaha, NE. Her only son Michael Clark Jr. of Omaha, NE. Her 13 grandchildren Kiara Washington of Omaha, Jaliyah Moss of Topeka, Tae’viona Washington of Dallas, Tyren Washington of Dallas, Jamar Washington of Omaha, JaMya Moss of Topeka, Eric Kirksey Jr. of Dallas, LaRonn Moss of Topeka, Erica Kirksey of Dallas, LaShay Washington of Omaha, Mich’Kera Clark of Omaha, Enoch Butler of Omaha, and Kash Librad of Omaha. 2 great grandkids Joshua Barber Jr, and Jayda Barber of Topeka. She is also survived by her 5 sisters BettiRuth Butler, Doris Washington, Juansetta Washington, Darlyn Washington, and Valerie Washington all of Omaha. 2 Brothers Larry Washington and Roger Washington.

Deborah joins her late parents Ruth Lawson and Wilford Washington 2 sisters Denise Jones and Dorothy Washington, and her brother Wildford Washington Jr. in heaven.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place December 17, 20022 from 2 - 4 PM at Roeders Mortuary 4932 Ames Ave. Omaha, Ne 68104.
