God welcomed his child, David Andrew Williams Jr., home on February 16, 2025. David was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whose presence illuminated the lives of all who knew him.
In June of 2024, David rededicated his life to Christ, marking a significant and transformative moment in his journey. He had an inspirational voice that motivated and influenced others to move forward and strive for better in their lives. David loved the Lord and was dedicated to his morning devotions with his mom where they would quote his favorite scripture, Proverbs 3:5-6.
David’s entrepreneurial spirit shone through in his many ideas and businesses, always striving to innovate and create. He loved buying and flipping old cars, finding joy in bringing them back to life. David worked with his dad for several years in the community, remodeling and painting homes, where he was able to use his creative flair. Fishing with his dad and uncles was a favorite, creating cherished memories on the water. David also enjoyed reading and was part of the creation on the radio station with his cousins. He was a passionate baseball player, participating in both baseball and football little leagues.
David was a highly intelligent individual, trained in military intelligence, he utilized his sharp mind and analytical skills to serve his country with distinction. His love for reading and thirst for knowledge further enhanced his capabilities, making him a valuable asset to his unit. David’s dedication and commitment to his duties were evident from the day he joined the military on [Insert Date Here]. His time in the military was marked by his unwavering determination and the respect he earned from his peers and superiors.
David is survived by his loving family, and leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Molly Williams; father, David Williams (Vera); sister, Cocoa Sullivan (Marcus); two nieces, Hasana and Amara; and his loving grandmother, Mary Williams. David’s memory will be forever in the hearts of a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, stepbrothers and stepsisters (Nikela, Fred, Natalee, Jarone), and friends; close uncle and friend, Larry Williams; close cousin and friend, Desmond Johnson; and close mentor and friend, Robert Hill.
His memory will live on in the love he shared and the lives he impacted.
David, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
