Jordan, Curtis Lynn 58 years
November 8, 1963-July 5, 2022
Survived by mother Rachel Skeahan, father Rick Jordan, sisters Lisa Anderson Kim Aksamit , stepbrother Brian Skeahan, nieces and nephew, Alissa, John Jr., Jordan and Kaysen.
Born in Deshler Ne, Curt was raised in Omaha NE. where he graduated from Millard North High School in 1982. During Curt’s working career he worked for Baker’s Supermarket and Seldin Property Management. Curt was involved in the Millard Legion Post 374 for many years. There he served as Squadron Commander and helped raise money for Honor flights to take WWII Veterans to Washington D.C. He also served in the Color Guard and proudly displayed the US Flag at many events around Omaha. Cooking was his passion so he used his skills at the Legion for many events. Curt moved to Nelson Ne. in 2018 and soon was elected to the Nelson City Council to get involved and help his community.
Curt was a valued son and brother. He loved the USA and could hold many a discussion on politics and current events. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, his favorite band Pink Floyd and his beloved dog Max. What will be missed most is Curt’s genuine kindness for others, his dry sense of humor and his straight forwardness. He will be missed by all his family and friends and all the medical staff who took care of him during his time battling diabetes.
“Death leaves a heartache only Christ can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
Preceded in death by stepfather Donald Skeahan, Grandparents Herman and Rosaline Hespen, Harold and Vivian Jordan, Edward and Natalie Skeahan and stepbrother Brent Skeahan, and Curt’s dog Max.
